How does the credit system work, and why does it exist?

Gobu uses a credit-based system to ensure fair and sustainable access to its AI-powered PDF analysis. This approach helps keep the platform fast, focused, and affordable for all users.

1. How It Works

• 1 credit = 1 PDF analysis

  • Each time you analyze a PDF with Gobu’s AI, it consumes 1 credit.

• Monthly credit reset

  • Credits included in your plan reset at the beginning of each month.

• Included in your plan

  • Your plan determines how many credits you receive each month.

• Need more credits? You can:

  • Upgrade your plan at any time.

  • Contact us if you’ve hit your credit limit on the Researcher Plan.

2. Why a Credit System?

AI document analysis is computationally intensive and costly. A credit system ensures:

• Fair access for all users

• High-speed, high-quality insights

• Long-term platform sustainability

3. How can I check for my remaining credits?

• Click your initials in the top right corner of Gobu

• Select Settings → Credits & Limits
