# Ask Mode

#### 1. **Open the Assistant**

* After logging in to Gobu, you’ll find the Assistant on the **top-right corner**, next to your profile.

* Click on the Assistant to open it.

**2. Select a Project**

* 📂 Choose a project to access its source documents.
* You can switch between your projects by clicking on **@**.

#### **3. Ask a Question**

* In **Ask mode**, the Assistant only reads the content of your selected project.
* It does **not hallucinate** or use its own knowledge/web data — so make sure your questions are relevant to the information in your project.
* If no relevant information is found, the Assistant will tell you — this is expected behavior.

#### **4. Check the Source**

* Click on any excerpt to view the original source.

5. **Clear the Chat**

* You can continue asking follow-up questions in the same thread or **start fresh** by going to **Settings → Clear Chat**.
