Ask Mode: Chat with your library

Gobu has two modes: Cite and Ask. This section explains how to use the Ask mode.

1. Switch Between Modes

• Use the dropdown menu to choose your mode.

  • Cite → Get supporting quotes with proper citations.

  • Ask → Ask questions; answers will only come from your library.

2. Select a Project

• 📂 Choose a project to access its source documents.

• You can switch between projects by clicking on @.

3. Ask Questions Based on Your Library

• Type your question in the input field.

• Gobu will provide answers backed by direct excerpts from your library.

4. Start a New Chat

• Click Clear Chat if you want to start a new conversation.

• This will clear your previous questions and AI answers, starting a fresh thread.
