2. My Payment Didn’t Go Through — What Should I Do?
We use a third-party payment processor (Stripe) to handle all transactions, which means we don’t have direct control over payment issues.
✅ What You Can Do:
Please contact your payment provider (bank or card issuer) to check if they can identify why the transaction failed. Common reasons include:
Insufficient funds
Card restrictions (e.g., international payments)
Bank security blocks
Expired or incorrect card details
Once the issue is resolved, you can try the payment again.

3. What Payment Methods Does Gobu Accept?

4. How Do I Use a Discount Code?
You can apply your discount code directly on the checkout page when you subscribe to Gobu.

Look for the field labeled " Add promotion code"
Enter your code and click Apply.
5. Is there a student discount?
Yes! Our Learner Plan is built with students in mind — it's significantly more affordable than the Researcher Plan, while still offering everything you need to analyze and understand complex texts. Still, if you have any questions or need support don't hesitate to reach out to us.
6. Why should I pay?
A small and dedicated team in Stockholm, Sweden, crafts, develops, and maintains Gobu. Your subscription directly supports us. You allow us to create and sustain Gobu full-time. We rely solely on your subscriptions without selling your data or bombarding you with ads.
7. Can I expense the Gobu subscription to my company?
We provide detailed invoices that you can use for expensing. You can purchase as a business and provide company details, e.g., VAT number, during checkout. The profile page in the app allows you to edit any billing details and see the invoice history.
8. What's your cancellation policy?
