Installing the Add-in Manually

Alternative to the direct download from the Marketplace, you can install our Add-in manually on Mac, Windows and Web. Follow the instructions below.

1. Install Manually on Web

Microsoft Word is free on the Web. You can go to Microsoft web on your browser, add the gobu add-in and start using it.

Click on the link below to download the Gobu add-in:

https://ms.addin.gobu.ai/manifest.xml?d=1ms.addin.gobu.ai

Then follow these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Word on the web in your browser and log in.

2. Create a new empty Word document or open an existing one.

3. Go to the Home tab and click Add-ins (far right side).

4. Click Add more Add-ins.

5. Select My Add-ins.

6. Choose Upload My Add-ins.

7. Click Browse and locate the gobu_manifest.xml file on your computer.

8. Click Upload.

✅ Gobu is ready! You can now click on the Gobu add-in under the Home tab, sign in, and start using it.
